This fine Senneh rug from Kurdistan has a continious small textile patten throughout the navy field, ivory hexagonal subfield and navy central lozenge-pole medallion. The whole effect is of highly disciplined and restrained execution. The narrow red “turtle ” main border is characteristic of Sennehs of this period and quality.
