This colorful Heriz carpet is a fine example of weaving from 1910 with a clear red hexagonal field centered by an eight point semi geometric medallion and ivory corners. The secondary decoration of flowers and vines has been geometricized. The main border displays a “turtle” motife styled in the Heriz manner.
