This very finely woven Tabriz carpet displays a close copy of the famous “Ardabil Carpet” in London. The golden, pendanted medallion and corners grace a dark blue ground decorated with palmettes and scrolling vines. A matching dark blue border has cartouches and rosettes alternating.
